Rad Radnor Lake

First of all, I apologize for that fishy title. But I wanted to tell you guys about how delightful Radnor Lake is.

Only about 20 minutes outside the city is a little oasis that feels more like the Ozarks than Nashville. WARNING: You will see at least one majestic woodland creature per visit. On my most recent visit, that included: a beaver, a deer, three baby raccoons, and a blue heron (shout out to my dad for teaching me about bird species). This is all within an hour walk!

The walking trail is mostly paved and it is an easy loop around the lake.

10/10 recommend - especially around dusk when the animals are active!
